Over-worn tank tops, American culture, old cars, a vintage petrol pump, you feel like you’re in a good old western.

You are immediately put in the mood. Flip girls, stay outside, it’s moving!

This production is truly unsane. You can’t imagine the emotional charge you’re going to get without experiencing it. You’re going to get shooted in your heart!
We have to admit that it was hard to imagine Jordan Luke GAGE as a bad guy (much more than Strat.) He kicked our as**s by showing us that the role fits him perfectly. He rises to the challenge of the difficulty of interpretation for a song like the poignant Raise a Little Hell. He doesn’t play Clyde, he is Clyde right down to his jaw. The interpretation is brilliant both in the acting and the singing, not only for the lead roles but also for the understudies. Let’s also mention the troubling accuracy of the children!

If we know the titles thanks to the Original Broadway cast recording, we discover a well-written book far from any facility. The fun moments (that Blanche! Wow!) alternate with the darker moments in total balance.
The perfect mix between Chicago and Bat out the Hell. This gleaming show rocks!
Musically, we are offered Country, blues with jazzy inspirations… Frances MAYLI McCANN offers us a How ’bout a dance in sublime vocal flight! She will touch you deeply.
The lyrics and the book are sure to bring tears to your eyes many times. You love who you love, Dying ain’t bad will stand you to your seat. The same goes for Born in America, which does not fail to denounce the free circulation of weapons in the United States.

The absence of a troupe of dancers does not harm the show. On the contrary, it keeps the focus on the quality of the writing and the staging. The audience is not mistaken and cheers loudly for each performance.

Thanks to Bonnie and Clyde!
Let’s become outlaws ourselves by awarding not five but six stars. The last one was stolen from the sheriff.

Synospis

Two small-town kids from the middle of nowhere became the biggest folk heroes in all America. They craved adventure—and each other. Their names were Bonnie and Clyde.

Frances MAYLI McCANN and Jordan Luke GAGE star in the West End premiere of the cult-sensation Bonnie and Clyde the musical. Featuring music by Tony® nominee Frank WILDHORN (Jekyll & Hyde), lyrics by Tony® and Oscar® winner Don BLACK (Sunset Boulevard), a book by Emmy® Award nominee Ivan MENCHELL, and directed by Nick WINSTON.

Now celebrating 10 years since its original Broadway opening, this brand new production of the cult musical follows two sell-out concert performances at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in January this year with this much anticipated West End Premiere opening at the Arts Theatre on 9 April 2022.

Fearless, shameless, and alluring, Bonnie & Clyde is the electrifying story of love, adventure and crime that captured the attention of an entire nation.
